Get to know Will
Owner / Creative Director / Dope Beat Aficionado
“it was all a dream…”
A lot of my clients don’t initially understand the value of process. That tends to change once they’ve gone through the experience and seen the results firsthand.
Will Bullock doesn’t just design—he builds. With a background in architecture, graphic design, and a self-taught journey into front-end coding, Will approaches every project with one guiding question: “How would I actually put this together?”
Over the past 26 years in Charleston, Will has led collaborations ranging from national award-winning packaging designs to rebranding historic institutions. His graphic design career actually began while he was still working in commercial architecture where the seeds of his Charleston area network were firmly planted. From his days as a partner with Slant Media to his time as creative director at Obviouslee Marketing to now running his own studio, WB Creative, he has spent the last 20+ years mentoring young designers, empowering small businesses, and wowing larger ones with his unusual approach to creative design solutions. His process prioritizes curiosity, collaboration, and client ownership of the final outcome.
For Will, design is less about creating something that “looks cool” and more about solving problems, telling stories, and ensuring clients see themselves reflected in the work. Whether crafting a logo, a digital campaign, or a book cover, he thrives on those “this is it” moments when vision meets execution.
When he’s not immersed in design, Will enjoys life with his wife Dixie and their three kids, weekends on Folly Beach, coaching youth sports, chasing dope beats (loves live music of every genre), the chaos of life with three dogs, and he’s also been known to slap a Lego brick or two together from time to time. He is an active member of Bethel United Methodist Church. Photography, travel, and the Charleston food scene also keep his creative eye sharp.
To Will, art is collaboration, problem-solving, and the spark of recognition when design meets innovation.

Cool collaboration, clever creativity, and calculated conclusions. (Plus lots of alliteration.) I often remind my clients throughout our time together that they’re not just choosing one of my designs, they’re helping shape their own.

Not at all! AI is just another tool. Knowing how to leverage it the right way can greatly increase one’s creative bandwidth and become a huge timesaver. Relying on it as a turnkey design solution, however, will lead to a lot of repetitive imitations at best.

You don’t! If you’re content with the work they can produce for you, go for it. But if you’re looking for something more strategic, more unique, and more reflective of you and your business, let’s talk.
